GSR - Breeding Strategy of Prof Zhi-Kang Li/CAAS
FOODCROPLECTURE: Green Super Rice (GSR) is bred to perform well in the toughest conditions where the poorest farmers grow rice. GSR is actually a mix of more than 250 different rice varieties. Some 106 GSR varieties are now ready for seed exchange and germplasm distribution through the International Network for the Genetic Evaluation of Rice. And this is an important lecture of Prof Zhi-Kang Li.
